The house is double storey thus our intention to venture to the 2nd floor was short lived.The only stairs leading up to the 2nd floor was located all the way to the back of the house through the kitchen.Why was it so far back?Its design was very similar to those old double storey shop houses. The whole floor surrounding the stairs has fallen through the ground.This was similar in many of the other rooms in the house.What the team noticed was there were make shift floor boards.Is the place under construction or has the place been visited by adventure seekers or simply drug addicts.
The make shift floor boards were all connected to the main corridor but alas that itself looked fragile and may snap at any moment.This restricted our movement inside the house very much.

After exploring all we could inside,we ventured towards the back.We were rather surprise that part of the house has collapsed.The backyard was pitch dark and we had only a camera phone torchlight thanks to Vanessa but we still strut along.We swing around the back and underneath it hoping perhaps to catch something sinister but all that was on our digicam was broken bit and pieces of wood.

Brief Description of the place
Mt Emily is located near the heart of Singapore city.But amidst the busy bustling of the city streets and night life, not too far away there are urban legends and untold rumors surrounding the Mt Emily areas.
At the top of Mt Emily today sits a few local bars or pubs together with several international students hostel.There is also a park nearby which is said to hold a sinister tale on its swings.As our team visited the park we could no longer find any more swings that is claimed to be a hot spot for a pontianak to swing on it.Therefore we leave it as it is for that story as of now.
Amongst the beautiful buildings located opposite on the top of Mt Emily is an abandoned house or a terrace.The location was provided by our team from a reliable source thanks to Mr Syafiee.Story has it that the Mt Emily house is a house that has been abandoned for several long years and was remained untouched even though its surrounding plots of land was quickly snatched up when place for sale.This is a is a bit baffling to us considering its prime location.
Is the house haunted?Was the asking price too high?Is the land unstable?Is the owner waiting for the right time to sell or was he/she didn't bothered about it because he/she was too rich?
This was some of the question playing through our mind as we explored the abandoned house atop Mt Emily

The house itself hold a lot of untold mystery yet our team could find very little when we did our research on it.One peculiar thing that we heard was that a murder took place in the house.How true is this we ourselves were not sure.Perhaps the soul of the murdered person still resides there,if so our team must have been rather unlucky not to have any paranormal encounter that night.
